Rushing water sound

Help would be appreciated in identifying the cause of the noise made when the central heating system is at work. The noise seems to be confined to the airing cupboard and sounds like the tide 'wooshing' shingle up and down the beach!

Two heating engineers have failed to fix or even identify the cause of this noise and i am reluctant to pay out again without knowing if what I am being told is.... correct.

I have bled the rads and the vent pipe in the airing cupboard. The only thing that seems to help is turning the boiler heat setting to a level where the waters is to cool to be of practical use.

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance.

What have you been told? What type of boiler do you have? Is the boiler/pump/hot weater cylinder in that cupboard. Is it copper or plastic pipes in there? Can you identify what each pipe is in the cupboard and what dia. each is?
