I have recently had fitted trvs to the Eight rads in my bungalow and have what may appear to be a minor problem with one of the rads which was moved by simply extending the pipework around two walls, the prob is that it now clicks very loudly when warming up (not sure how long for as we turn it off after about half an hour.) As this rad is in our bedroom and the heating comes on at 6am the minor problem is becoming quite major would welcome any suggestions. System was commisioned by heating engineer and bled frequently since.

Is it the radiator that clicks or the new pipework ?
do the pipes touch ?
are they clipped ?

Normally clicking noises from pipes and radiators are just normal expansion of pipes. The radiators will expand slightly too. Not a problem if you can put up with it.

If pipes are touching or touching floorboards or joists they can sometimes rub against this when expanding causing a clicking noise.

Also pipes should be clipped, if it's definately the radiator that's clicking, you could try turning the boiler stat down, or close the radiator valve slightly and see if this helps.

If you are reusing an existing radiator, it may be that the plastic inserts that go between the radiator and the mounting brackets have been discarded. If they have, this is most likely what is causing the clicking noise.

The other reason for clicking or ticking on rads are the top grills and or the side panels, these expand at a different rate to the radiator causing the noise.

Try closing down the lockshield valve had to repair a rad with the same fault and this cured the problem as it eas open fully also was first off the boiler.
