Radiators Not Heating fully

Recently made a pipe repair to my central heating system, using some Polypipe. When I turned on the heating once again, the ground floor radiators were fully heated but the two bedroom radiators are only up to temperature at the bottom third. The bathroom towl rail appears to be fully filled. With my limited knowledge I bled the two but no air at all came out or water for that matter!

I have a Worcester combi-boiler and no water tank, so the water only circulates on demand (I believe!).

Any advice most welcome....

The fact that the radiators only get hot 1/3 up points to them not being full of water borne out by the fact you see no water from the bleed screw.

Sounds to me as if you have not re-pressurised the system properly since your repair. Make sure that there is between 1.0 and 1.5 bar in the system.

When that is so, bleed the rads again, and keep re-pressurising the system constantly as you go.
