Ground source heat pumps - anyone any exoperience please?

Hi - I am just about to start converting a barn - I am still planning things at the moment and I like the idea of ground source heat pumps - GSHP. The system installed will do both space heating (underfloor) and domestic hot water.
I have a few reservations because I have found out that gshp works best at temperatures of around 40degs - which is fine for underfloor heating but too low for domestic hot water.
Was wondering if anyone on here has such a system installed and whether they could recommend it.
The alternative would be installing an oil tank and oil fired boiler. What would be your advice?
Many thanks in advance.
