We are having an ensuite put into our loft space but will need to replace our HW cylinder as it's not large enough and we want to powerflush the radiators.

What exactly is Power flushing?

And should you be CORGI registered to do pwerflushing and replace the cylinder?

You do not have to be CORGI registered to fit a cylinder or to powerflush a system. But it worth checking the plumber you employ has experience of working on central heating systems.

Why do you want to powerflush the radiators ? are they not heating properly. This can be quite expensive and not always necessary.

Make sure the plumber adds inhibitor to the system to prolong the life of the system.

Many thanks for your answer.

No, the radiators are not working brilliantly. Two plumbers have said it needs doing.

What exactly does powerflushing involve?
