why is one radiator cold when all the other radiators in the house are hot and working correctly?
Look forward to hearing from anyone who can help.

1. Has it got air in it? Try opening the bleed vent.
2. If you have standard valves is the flow open? If it's not then no hot water will get in.
3. Have you got a TRV on it? - It might be stuck and no hot water is getting in.
Try checking those to start with.

Having tried the advice of rosebery, if the rad is still cold, there is air in the pipes leading up to this rad. To shift this keep the CH on and gradually turn off all the other rads except this one and one other. This should work just by turning off the adjustable valve on each rad. But if you close the lockshield valve as well, make a note of the number of turns you close. This will enable you to restore the balance of the system afterwards.

Dear Rosebery,
How do you shift the valve if it is stuck?
When I unscrew the cap I find a pin - do I try to turn it?
Thanks Florence1
