boiler tripping out

Dear DIY Doctor,About 2 months ago my boiler would fire up but would trip out after a minute or so,called a plumber who fitted a new pump,boiler worked fine , but then removed an upstairs radiator, now i am back to boiler firing up but tripping out again. Called 2 plumbers out who could not fix it, one costing £40, they suggested air locks / low water pressure and to bleed radiators. Done that downstairs water comes out but upstairs no water comes out after bleeding. Could there be a fault with boiler? Regards D.Boocock.
