drianing off system is it right?

A friend of mine has just had her central heating system drianed by an experienced plumber and he drained off the system under her floor boards in her lounge he took up floor board and said foundation were to the edge and would just soak away, I have not heard of this before can someone please advise if its correct procedure and will she have any problems

Not an ideal way to drain a system, but i'd imagine it'll be quite a drop under the floor boards for him to drain the system there. So shouldn't cause any damage.
