Rinnai Infinity 16i Water Heating System

Hello
I am new on this forum so if I ask stupid question please forgive.
I got hot air vent heating system at home which does the water heating as well. I am quite happy with air vent heating but water heating doesn't serve me well as if someone had a bath there is no water for next couple of hours. So I asked this guy to come and suggest. He said I can have Instantaneous multi-point water heater ( whatever that means! ) and I should be able to get rid of all tanks. He gave me a pamphlet of Rinnai Infinity 16i.
Now my question is: is 16i enough for normal home usage (shower/bath) ? or should i go for 26i ?
Another question : I have done bit of successful plumbing in past. Should I try removing all tanks and fitting upto water level ? and leave gas stuff for CORGI guys ? I guess It will save me some money.
Once its all fitted do I need CORGI certificate ?
Thanks
