Boiler not firing

Hello, could you point me in the right direction with this please. I have a small Apollo Fanfare boiler that won't fire so there no hot water or heating. The pilot light is on, thermostat is at high and the hot water and central heating have been turned on. The pump is in another room (airing cupboard) and is not running - its hot. When I turn the hot water and central heating off at the control, it cools down. It has a high/low switch on it that's set to low. When I set it to high, it starts running but the boiler doesn't fire. Is there somthing else I can check. Thanks, David
