Block Paving

I've resently moved house and inherited a block paved path around my new house. There are a lot of weeds coming up between the setts and I wondered what was the best way of removing these and ensuring that they don't return.

I have a power washer but have heard that this could damage the setts. I also have a kneeling pad and scraping tool, but as there is a lot of path, I was hoping there might be an easier way of addressing this problem.

If you could suggest a good way of addressing this issue I'd be most grateful.

Regards

Stephen

The only "damage" the pressure washer would do is to blow the sand out from between the blocks, which you can re-apply. Use kiln dried sand, on a dry day and on a dry drive.

Alternatively use a weed-killer.
