I live in the West Midlands. Does anybody know any reputable companies that do weed free driveways. Further, my driveway is currently sloped so that the water runs dwn to the outside wall of my house. Is this something that can be addressed when the new driveway is done?

The important issue is the hight of the driveway in relation to the damp proof course in your wall. The recommended hight for a damp proof course is 6 inches above the ground/drive level. This is to avoid heavy rain splashing on the wall above the dpc. Obviously, the lower the drive the better. A wise move it to have the drive area close to the wall turned into a French drain to avoid ponding along the wall, this is simple as the wheels on your car are set inside the body line and you drive some way from the wall, leaving a suitable space for a gravel or stone filled trench with no fear of running off the hard surface.
