Hard standing area - slabs - advice please

Hi everyone - we are trying to put a hard standing area down - we have done the drainage - have got the membrane down - and we have 10 tonne of road planings on top of the membrane.
What we are now looking at is making it slightly more sturdy - as we would like to put some heavy duty slabs/flags down on top of the road planings - so that it was more heavy duty so to speak.
Can anyone advise on the best way to do this?
The road planings i were thinking - could be used as a hardcore sub-base and then someway - put the slabs/flags on top.
Any advice on how to do this would be great please.
Thank you.
