Pooling water on concrete

Outside the door of my prefab garage there is an concrete area that always seem to collect water when it rains. This water pools and when there is enough of it,it starts coming under the door.
The concrete area is approx 2,5ft by 8ft,but the area where the water collects is about 2ft square. The area is dead level,to one side by the door post.
What is the best solution to stop the water?Build up the area with a layer of concrete or screed?Drill holes to allow the water to drain away?
I am open to suggestions.
Many thanks Hobbyman

Use a disc cutter with a diamond blade,(you can hire 1) and cut a line in front of the door. You can place a plank of wood to give you a guide.Score the concrete slightly on 1 end and increase the depth of the cut at the other end.
When it rains the cut will drain the water away, basically a 5 minute job and less expensive than concreting.
