pointing slabs with geofix

i have recently laid my new patio with chamferred (sp) slabs. i have bought geofix to point the slabs.
the gaps between the chamferred slabs range in width and depth but are mostly min 5 mm wide and 25 mm deep. i keep reading that this is a MINIMUM requirement for geofix but do u think this will be a problem if a very smal part of some slabs are narrower/ and not as deep. surely the geofix will still go off in these parts.
