I have just bought a new metal yardmaster shed 10 x 8 and had a new concrete pad made to stand it on. The problem is I have had the pad made far too big :( it has a overlap of about 12 inches all around and now floods every time it rains :( I have thought about sealing it with outdoor mastic inside and out and then around the outside with a little concrete lip, getting someone in to saw it down and all sorts of other ideas but the truth is that I am no DIY person and haven't really got a clue what to do for the best. Please can someone help? Thank you in advance :)

Try raising the shed up 50mm and concrete the floor inside, or take the shed off the slab and cut the concrete pad to the correct size

does the shed need taken off the slab to be cut? Im a bit nervous about doing that in-case moving it slackens all the screws :( Will attaching some guttering and putting a little concrete lip around the shed cure it? Thanx for your advice :)

not really, raising the internal floor height is an easier option, if you like you can just concrete the floor inside the shed, but paint the floor first with aquaprufe
