How to Fix a Crack in the Polymeric Sand Patio Joints

I laid a patio earlier this year in my backyard and used polymeric sand to seal the joints between paving stones.

After a few months now, it looks like the ground on one side sunk slightly, and there are very narrow cracks in the polymeric sand joints (see picture).

I don't think the ground will sink any further, but before winter comes, I am wondering if I need to seal those cracks because I wouldn't want water getting in there and freezing, expanding and causing further damage.

How should I do this? What should i use for this?

If you are sure that they are not going to move you can fill the gaps with some more ploymeric sand. You will need to chop out the cracks to make sure that the sand can get right in and fills all the spaces. We sell the following with is suitable for the purpose:

If they are going to move, you will need to chop out all the polymeric sand and then I would recommend that you sweep in ordinary sharp sand (or silver sand if the joints are tight). Find out all about how we would repoint a patio here:
