Epoxy Resin to Cover Gravel Driveway?

I have an area of grass that is damaged where we continually walk on it.
I am thinking of laying a concrete base to this area, covering with fine gravel and then coating it with Epoxy resin to give a hard, durable surface and keep the gravel in place, much like a lot of driveways now, will this work ??
