Hi, had a guy laying a patio and concreting the rest of the garden, but in one area approx a metre square the chippings are sticking through. It's a brushed finish and my wife not happy the kids can't walk on it barefoot lol.

So can anyone give advice on a way, or some kind of floor grinder / dresser than can take these high spots down without messing with the surrounding level floor?

Kind regards.

you can hire a hand held diamond grinder that will remove the chippings

Thanks for the reply, incase this goes south is it possible to re-concrete it? only problem is I am only looking at possibly able to go up another inch max. It's quite a large area of around 17ft x 15 ft?

then its best if you use a resin bonded gravel mix, concrete wont adhere properly @ 25mm thick.
