Hi,
I want to have a go at building a concrete base to build a brick cupboard outside backing onto an extension. It'll be 2ft by 6ft ... Not sure what depth I'll need. How many bags And what type do should I get?

you will need bags of concrete mix, cement and a concrete mixer which you can hire. you can either dig out and lay a foundation or lay it above ground.
I would build a timber frame work on compacted level ground, And fill it with concrete.
The depth of the concrete should be a minimum of 100mm thick, A ton of concrete mix is needed and 8 cement
