Advice on Dull Looking Indian Sandstone Patio

Hi
My Patio (Indian Sandstone: raj Green) is coming up to its 5th Birthday and after regular jet washing and even the application of colour enhancer (Resiblock Indian Sandstone Sealer) 2 years ago is looking a bit rubbish. To be honest it has never been what i expected it to be and always looks "dull" and dusty. The contractors who laid it said "it needed time to settle".
I have a few questions:
1) Are there various grades of slabs - and does it look like I got the cheap ones?
2) Why is it still looking dull and covered in slime, stains, lichen and rubbish after applying some very expensive sealer?
3) Any tips to improve the overall look. Does sandblasting work or is it a waste of money?
I've attached some pictures (taken hours after a full jetwash).
Do I need to accept that just like my waistline, things change overtime or can something be done?
Thanks in advance!
Ps. At least it looks good when it's rained!
