Stripping off sealer

Hi
I have inhereted a stone floor in my house that we bought.
The kitchen ,hall, and dining room is what appears to be sandstone that has been sealed and is very dark and I would like to strip it and reseal.
Would an ammonia solution work? Our dog had an accident on the floor and it appears to have stripped the sealer off,and I think dog pee has ammonia in it.
Being indoors I probably cant use the outdoor paving strippers.
