hi,can anyone help, my concrete doorstep in the hallway is getting wet in the corner, it is only on the top of the step (6inches by 3inches) i thought rain was getting through my upvc door trims , so i put new sealant on, but it is still wet, so i took the skirting off it was damp, the plaster and cement was very dry and flakey, i removed this to see if it would dry out, that was 2 days ago, where i removed the cement and plaster is dry it is only wet on the step, could it be condensation or somthing else , and what can i do to remedy this (cheap if possible)thanks, skippy

check if its comming through the door.
Hose the entire door first and check for water
if waters comming through I would remove a small section of plaster below skirting height at the base of the door jamb clear all debris from the side of the jamb and use a small amount of expanding foam to seal any gaps.
Hope this helps
