Mould growing on bedroom ceiling

There is a mould growing on the bedroom ceiling and the mould patch is located on the corner where exterior wall and interior wall meets. What could be the problem with that?

the favourite for this is roof problems or gutters /rainwater pipes.I generally steady the ladder for my dear mama when she checks ours every year.Get a professional in unless you are confident.
