Hello,

I have started to get a couple of damp patches apear in the middle of a wall. It is a terraced house about 100 years old, there are no signs of water coming down or up the wall, just in the middle of this one walls.
Its a down stairs wall and is about 3 foot above the skirting at the botom of the stairs, cannot work out where its coming from.

Any thoughts welcome.

Possibly a leaking pipe built into the wall or if its a party wall it could be something your neighbours are doing eg leaking shower on party wall.
