I have a cottage with stone guttering. After rain, the water seeps through into the cottage. Is there a bitumen, or similar product, I can waterproof the guttering with ?

Yes you can use a bitumen based paint the problem will be getting the stone dry enough for the paint to stick. Suggest you use a water based paint after a long dry period and yes it will need re-doing every year.
