Timber Frame Renovation - Damp Course

We are purchasing a timber framed house that needs renovating.
What sort of damp course would a timber frame property have?
Will it be easy to repair?
The property is weatherboarded so this will all be replaced and we want to do the damp course at the same time

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks

any chance you could provde more info, is the timber frame built on a brickwall etc. maybe a photo?

check out building regs typical details (robust details or accredited construction details)

general details

i prefer the scottish version as the details are more clearly labelled
