Hi All,
I hope you can help out, we are first time buyers and we have a out house/wash house attached to the side of our house, it did originally have cladding over the walls and ceiling and when removed it did appear a little damp where the walls meet the floor.
We plan to frame this room, plasterboard, plaster and cove this room to join the rest of the house, however we don't want to do this if the damp will re-occur - this is single brick building.
How would be best to go about this do we need vapor barrier between the walls, ceiling and fame OR between the frame and plaster board?
Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks Stephen
