Hello,

I recently bought my first house. After a spout of bad weather I started to notice these dark patches on the bedroom wall. The paint bubbled and cracked. The area is not wet and no colder than the rest of the wall.. Is anyone able to tell me what this is and what options I have as a resolution?

Do you have cavity walls? And how old is your house?
