Hi, I'm interested in buying an house and have noticed odd patch on the outer wall of the house. I was just wondering if someone can help me by taking a look and see if this looks like a damp. I have attached a picture.
Survey have not been done yet so I wanted to check here before going any further.
Thanks in advance

it does not look like damp, just a bad bit of patching to the pebbledash

or maybe subsidence?
I guess I'm worrying too much but it does look very odd. I couldn't see anything inside as the house is recently re-pianted and estate agent didn't have a clue.

Hi, I've just come across a very similar issue myself however my house is a terraced from late 1800's. I'm not an expert in this field but I went to
http://www.timberwise.co.uk/damp-proofing-solutions/ to get an idea on what to look for and then gave the company a ring. Luckily it wasn't a huge job in the end but my mums house has a much bigger issue. Hope you get everything sorted :)
