Are Beetroot Coloured Patches Mould Behind Wallpaper?

I have a beetroot coloured patch that was behind wallpaper in the hall. I'm assuming it's mould. What type is it? What treatment would be recommended for this type? I can't find anything this colour online. Many thanks
