hi i have a 1928 semi detacted house and it has 3 air bricks to the front and side and 1 on the back (lean to on the back),how ever the front had an extention built in 1975 with concrete foundations and 2 of the air bricks are on that, leaving 1 into the old part of the house no room to put any more on.any ideas to get more air flowing throw viod under floor the smell of damp is bad.theres no damp on any of the walls.
any idears greatfully received.

(see my post for similar problem... username Blue) - I have this week had my damp problem assessed and apparently the old air bricks can be replaced with metal powder coated vents which allow a greatly increased airflow... I have not yet been given a quote for this work (which has been recommended in addition to a Drymaster system to increase the air flow above floor).

Dont know if this is the right advice but it is what I've been told by a (supposed) reputable company?????!
