Sea Flood 50 Years ago Causing Damp in Victorian Cottage

by Oldcottage » Thu Jan 04, 2018 8:18 pm

My Victorian cottage was subject to the sea flooding 50 years ago. It was about a metre high but the damp seems to be living in the brickwork as despite damp course and chipping off plaster etc, the damp is still coming in. The paint is just literally falling off the walls...

Any ideas greatly appreciated! Thank you all in advance.

you don't say what type of,
brick sandstone or stock brick
sometimes the brick inherits the
damp mold like a cancer
it just goes on growing
you have to cut them out
