Repairing Slate Damp Proof Membrane in 1950s Property

I’m renovating a 1950s house and when removing some stubborn floor tiles, I went too far and damageda small part (1 inch square) of the slate damp proof course.
Would like to know if I can easily repair this? Could an epoxy resin be used on the the broken bit?
The budget and time doesn’t stretch to major works, so looking for something straightforward that doesn’t cost the earth. Cheers
