Old home and new Owner With no Idea About Damp

Hi all,
I've owned my property for almost a year now, three bedroom house built in the late 1800s. Just myself in it so I have been renting out one room for the past year, my Lodger has moved out and I noticed some mould by the window. I wiped this away, have left the window open and closed overnight and it has not returned since. What I have noticed is these marks on the walls, I'm worried they may be damp and may relate to the mold. One is on the wall by the window, the other is on the wall opposite. Any advice is appreciated.
