Damp Patch in Newly Plastered Wall Near Window in Living Room

Got living room walls freshly plastered, after the plaster has dried out there is a small damp patch came through. Its high up and next to the window. I'm unsure if its something to worry about or if it will be okay with a layer of damp proof paint. I have attached a picture.
