Hi

Recently had a small utility room plastered. Noticed that every morning a small damp patch would appear in the corner and the plaster would appear wet again.

Checked outside today and noticed the brick work is wet and most of the pointing is gone. Pic attached.

I’m wondering if fixing this area would solve the issue?

Trying to find the easiest and simplest solution.
