Hi hoping someone can help with a dampness problem. Mould has started appearing in an in-built cupboard i have in my bungalow. It’s against an exterior wall which might be part of the problem. Also had a door which is normally closed which so lack of ventilation possibly part of the issue. Any advice as to the cause of and solution to this issue would be greatly appreciated! I’ve added a couple of pictures which show the mould at the moment. Thanks

Hi jimi1604
You really need to ventilate under, over and behind the cupboard, which means creating a gap in these areas.
Whether you will be able to rejuvenate the cupboard is a matter of trial and error.

Ok thank you. If I was to change the door to one with slats would that potentially help? Something like the one in the pic I’ve attached.
Thanks

Hi jimi1604
Suggest you need to warm up the back of the cupboard, creating a gap all round will help.
Open slat doors may help but the issue of a cold cupboard will remain.
