Damp exterior bricks from previously leaking overflow

Hi all,
The overflow pipe from my first floor toilet was leaking, steadily dripping onto the brickwork outside of the front of my house for a month or two (I think). I had the leak fixed a few weeks ago but the brickwork outside still looks damp (although it feels dry to the touch). There is also some moss on a couple of bricks at the bottom, where the drip was landing. I see no signs of damp inside the house.
I would like to know if the wall will dry out by itself (perhaps during spring and summer), or if it requires intervention.
Thanks in advance!
