Hole in damp proof after bathroom refit

Hi all

I am after a bit of advice on what we should be doing...
Refitting the bathroom. Upon removing the bath there was a crater like hole in the concrete floor whereby water pipes entered under the floor from the adjacent room (kitchen). To re route the pipes to allow for a shower to be fitted we had to go below the DPC. It has left this area with a gradual build up of water. Any advice on how we would go about sorting this? Is it a case of having to replace the whole bathrooms DPC? Or any way in which it could be repaired.

Many thanks!

Hi kcolby90,
If the water table is higher than the level of your DPM you will have to do something to lower the water level before you attempt any repair.
How to repair the DPM will depend on what it's made of.
