I have spent a long time painting four flights of stairs and two landing areas. I have given each three coats using a dedicated floor paint. The stairs only receive a moderate amount of traffic from three people, but already after a short time there is sign of wear. What product can you recommend that will be hard wearing for this job?:(

In 30 years we have never found a "floor" paint that stays good under any kind of foot traffic. It can be made to last a lot longer by sealing with a mattt varnish but this will still scuff in the most used areas making it look untidy.
