borders

im trying to create a wavy boarder in my bedroom, instead of a normal straigh line. im not using a wallpaper boarder or a rail, just a paint to paint effect. however this is proving harder than i thought, any ideas on how to create an even wavy line - nothing to hectic, id prefer just two or three waves on a wall.
HELP!!!

You could use masking tape to create the dividing lines but getting it to stick completely would be the challenge.

how about making a stencil out of cardboard? make one wavy bit out of board and use as a template to mark the rest of the board. this will ensure consistency of the wavy effect all round the room.
