Is it OK to paint over oil eggshell with acrylic eggshell?

Hi there,
Would really appreciate some advice please. Painted my hallway below dado in acrylic eggshell a couple of years ago and was pleased with result. Since then have had a doorway removed and newly plastered. I've just repainted the below dado section with what I thought was the same acrylic eggshell as before but it wasn't! I've mistakenly used an oil eggshell and it looks awful. All the other walls have a sheen but this doesn't. I'd like to do the second coat with the acrylic but will it go on OK? Do I need to prime it first? The paints are from the Farrow and Ball range. Thank you in advance!
