Hello there
I just wallpapered a hallway with wood chip paper.
It all went on smooth with no indication of bubbles, I left it 2 days before I painted and then when i did bubbles started springing up all over.
the walls were in good condition and sealed .

Can anyone tell me why this happened, what i can do to fix it and what i can do to make sure it doesnt happen again?

thanks in advance

just leave it and see if the bubbles go away again. don't forget that as you paint you are making the paper wet again and it will expand, forming bubbles where the adhesion is weakest. as the paint and paper dry out again they will often shrink back and disappear without a trace.

if they don't go away however, then get a syringe and inject each bubble with wallpaper adhesive and gently press smooth. may require a little touching up but better than a bubble.
