Hi,

I am wondering whether i can paint over my tile floor?

It is a light colour and i want to make it more practical by painting it a darker colour.

Any suggestions are welcome.

Regards,

Nadia

There are some good floor paints around Nadia. See the link below. Unfortunately the colours seem to be a bit dire, ie green, grey, black or red. http://www.awin1.com/pclick.php?p=16506 ... 071&m=1228

Hi,

Thank you for your reply. It was the colour that i am looking for - i.e. grey.

I have another question - do i need tp paint over the grout too or i need a separate kind of paint. What colour would look better with grey tile paint? Darker or lighter?

I also would like to know if i could paint the tiles on my own - is it a tricky job to do? does it need to be done by a professional? Does it show once the tilea are painted or does it look like painted tiles?

Sorry if my questions are a bit strange but i am very bad with DIY and need very specific intructions :)

Thanks in advance.

Regards,

Nadia

You can do this yourself by reading the instructions on the tin Nadia. The grout is painted with the same stuff but you will not diguise the fact that you have painted over tiles.
