I stipped my bedroom of wallpaper and want to paint over the plaster with paint. Would i have to use a primer or undercoat before i paint on my chosen paint?
The plaster it self looks fine, no crack or holes and smooth.

Johnni,
Chances are that the wall will still have a coat of adhesive in the plaster.
Try using your chosen paint on a small area and see if it looks OK.

No reason why not. Make sure you have removed ALL the paste though. Are you back to bare plaster or is there a leyer of paint over it? If bare plaster do a mist coat first which apart from "sealing" it will also show up any imperfections you might want to fill before applying further paint. 2nd coat watered down by about 10% and the third neat.
Cheers
