"What do I need to change matt emulsion to eggshell?"
What are you actually trying to do / achieve?

i wish people would'nt put up 2 posts on the same subject. Better to consider your post in terms that might be understood and get a sensible answer.

That happens here because people submit their post and because they can't see it immediately (and won't until an admin has "checked" it for safety - perhaps some considerable time later) they think they did it wrong and post it again. Its a function of the way this forum works.
However, in this case the question is also poorly phrased although I guess the OP clearly understands what they were trying to say.
Interpretation attempted on the other thread.

Hi, If you want eggshell type finish just use a Vinyl Silk emulsion. If you mix it with a Matt finish it will probably end up being patchy. To get a proper eggshell finish you will need to buy eggshell paint. You won't actually make an eggshell finish using a matt emulsion.
