I've recently made a huge mistake and following someones advice I've put PVA on a newly plastered ceiling. One part PVA to three parts water

I've not painted the ceiling with emulsion yet, and wondered if anyone knows of a way to remedy my error.

I intend to attack it with warm water and a scrubbing brush, then see if I can sand it down to give it some form of key - does this some like a good idea?

Dont panic lol, I would just paint the ceiling, you will not get watered down pva off new plaster, you will just end up damaging the finish on the ceiling, I used to paint all new plaster with extremely watered down pva and it never made a difference, I know some painters that still use it as a base coat but I wouldnt reccomend it but it should be fine.
