Painting small porcelain sink

by tanya84 » Sat Aug 20, 2011 2:24 pm

Hi,

I'dropped a bottle of perfume on my bathroom sink and it cracked :((((
I 've used the chip reapir kit to cover it but the color doesnt quite match(the trouble area is whitenner than the porcelain color ) and sadly visible . I would like to paint the whole sink now to one color(white). What paint do I use? Some people recommend gloss appliance paint in spray.
Is this a good idea?

I'm interested in low cost solution - Please note that I cant afford changing the whole sink or hire proffessionals. The solution cant be temporary as long as the mark is not visible.

Thank you

There is no cheap fix that i know of. Normal gloss is what you would put in a paint gun so i doubt that would work, There is a samll enamel spray that you can use but its mainly for just the chip its self. If its a small hand sink it may work.
