priming for wallpaper

I have new plastered walls which i have primed with watered down emulsion (50% water, 50% paint). The plaster was fully dry beforehand.
I had planned to paint but now possibly may wallpaper. If I wallpaper what do i do beforehand?

If it was bare plaster I have read to prime with watered down paste but not sure what to do now that i have already primed for painting.

Do I:
- paint the walls (a coat of white emulsion) and then wallpaper on that?
- add a coat of watered down paste?
- wallpaper directly on the primed walls as they are?
- something else?

Any advice please?
Thanks

Hi wildm, before papering you will need to size the walls with a coat of watered down paste or you can buy a pack of size and use that. Having given the walls a coat of emulsion first will make this easier to apply as it won't soak in so quickly.
